LuckUp – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LuckUp ("the app", "we") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

• Anonymous account ID: The app signs you in anonymously (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) without requiring an email, phone number, or password. This ID is not linked to your real-world identity.
• Nickname: A nickname you choose (or an auto-generated default) is displayed publicly on global leaderboards.
• Country code: A coarse, device-locale-derived country code (not precise location) may be recorded to show country-level rankings.
• Game results: Your in-game answers and scores are recorded to power rankings, statistics, and your personal history.
• Advertising identifiers: When you watch a rewarded ad, Google's Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) may collect advertising identifiers and related data as described in Google's own privacy policy.
• Usage analytics: Basic, anonymous app-usage events (e.g. game started/completed, tab views) are collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand feature usage.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your email address, precise/GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone number, or any payment information. The app has no in-app purchases.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used solely to operate core app features: computing your rank and statistics, displaying leaderboards, serving rewarded ads, and understanding aggregate app usage to improve the app.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services, which may independently collect data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Functions)
• Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK)

5. Data Storage and Retention

Game results submitted for official ranking are stored on Google Cloud Firestore servers. Your personal challenge history is stored locally on your device only and is not synced across devices. Ranking data rolls off automatically after the applicable ranking window (24 hours / 7 days).

6. Children's Privacy

LuckUp is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Choices

You may change your displayed nickname at any time in the app. Because the app uses anonymous authentication, uninstalling the app effectively ends your association with your anonymous ID.

8. Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of the data associated with your anonymous ID (including your nickname, submitted game results, and ranking history) by emailing sonofbla@gmail.com from any address, along with your in-app nickname so we can locate your data. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that your personal challenge history stored locally on your device is not affected by this and is removed simply by uninstalling the app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
